Interdisciplinary Programs within Doerr School of Sustainability

The Doerr School of Sustainability is home to three interdisciplinary programs (IDPs) that play a critical role advancing Stanford University’s educational mission: the Earth Systems Program, the Sustainability Science and Practice Program (SUST), and the Emmett Interdisciplinary Program in Environment and Resources (E-IPER).

While the three IDPs have commonalities, each is designed to achieve unique learning outcomes and prepare different populations of Stanford students for different career paths.
