Amanda Campos (BS '26)
Main content start
Amanda Campos (she/her) is a junior studying environmental and energy policy and justice. Born in the iconic city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, she moved to the 20-million-people, skyscrapers-filled São Paulo when she was 3 years old and then to South Florida when she was 13. She is a climate justice, immigrant rights, and Free Palestine activist. She’s either got her head in the clouds or her nose in a book. Amanda will be working at Earthworks this summer as the International Mining Justice intern and cannot wait to learn more about environmental justice advocacy. She dreams of going to law school to study environmental law and make Big Oil polluters pay.
