Keona Blanks '23

Main content start

July 14, 2022

As an aspiring human rights scholar, Keona has devoted her studies to the intersection of justice and environmental science. Though she grew up in Hawai'i, half of her heart is in Japan where she was born and where her family lives. At Stanford, she is the Frosh Service Liaison coordinator and RA of the Public Service and Civic Engagement Theme House. In her summers, she has interned in Hawai'i with the Institute for Climate and Peace, the William S. Richardson Environmental Law Program, and Honolulu Civil Beat to engage her local community in building a sustainable future.
