Lily Lyu

Lily is a junior studying Earth Systems, specifically pursuing the Energy, Science and Technology track, and Economics. She is from Beijing, China, and since coming to Stanford, has been especially captivated by topics at the intersection of her two majors, including environmental economics and energy markets & policy. Outside of classes, she is the VP of Stanford Energy Club and did year-long research with the Sustainable Finance Initiative on corporate net zero pledges and carbon data reporting markets around the world. Over the past summer, Lily interned at the World Bank in Washington, D.C. on their Development Impact Evaluation team and assessed climate and resilience outcomes in the Sahel region.
