Lizzie Avila is a junior studying Earth Systems, minoring in Urban Studies, and co-terming in Sustainability Science and Practice. She is passionate about and dedicated to environmental justice, sustainable urban planning, and mutual aid. At Stanford, she is involved at Jasper Ridge and the O'Donohue Family Educational Farm, and has previously been involved in Stanford FLIP, the ASSU, and the Basic Needs Coalition. After Stanford, she plans to go to law school and dreams of working at Earth justice or the NRDC as an environmental litigator focusing on land use and PUC law.
