Devon spent summer of 2016 working at in the Educational Outreach department of the Library of Congress as part of the Cardinal Quarter Liljenquist Fellowship. During the 2016-2017 School Year, she was a Haas Center Cardinal Quarters Peer Advisor. For the 2017-2018 academic year, she took a leave of absence and worked in Berlin through the Krupp internship program, teaching at two high schools there).

She’s heavily involved at the Bridge Peer Counseling Center. She’s lived there for the last 3 years. She run trainings and host lectures that keep current peer counselors prepared for anything they may encounter while counseling. She’s also worked on and off at SHPRC for the past few years. She participated in Ravenswood Reads for two quarters, and got the Cardinal Service Notation on her undergraduate transcript.

I’m hoping to pursue a career in education! I’m not yet entirely sure what that will look like, but I’m excited to work more with young people.
