Kelly Dunn (B.S. '22)

Main content start

March 16, 2021

In her time on campus, Kelly has served as an educator at the Haas Center for Public Service, designing and teaching environmental education curriculum for K-12 students. She also worked with R&DE to implement vegan dishes across all dining halls. Her time as a farmhand at the O’Donohue Educational Farm inspired her to co-found “Baole” (www.bao-le.org), an organization that invites multicultural chefs to Stanford to teach students about sustainable, plant-based dishes to create a more inclusive sustainable food movement. When not teaching or working with food, Kelly works as a scientific illustrator, animator, and environmental journalist for environmental non-profit organizations, E-IPER students, and outdoor recreation companies. This summer, she’ll be working with the John Muir Trail Wilderness Conservancy, studying impacted sites in Kings Canyon National Park.
